Sergio GutierrezSergio Gutierrez originally from Bucaramanga, Colombia chose horseshoeing as a career after first going to a Veterinary University in his home country. Studying for years, apprenticing under not only other vets, but also farriers, & working at veterinarian clinics, Sergio graduated with his diploma and license as a Vet in 2015. He then went on to study as a farrier/blacksmith in the USA. Graduating from the Advanced Farrier & Blacksmithing course at Midwest Horseshoeing School in the summer of 2016, he is currently applying both his skills at the forge and his knowledge as a vet to give your horses the best possible care!

Lydia GutierrezLydia is originally from upstate New York, previously working for a Morgan horse Breeding & Show Barn. She then moved to Arizona in 2013 to pursue training & starting horses. After a year focused on training & colt starting, she moved on to Cowboy for a cattle ranch on the Santa Maria River in Northern Arizona for several years. Wanting to increase her skill set, Lydia went to study at Midwest Horseshoeing school in Divernon, IL. graduating the Advanced Farrier & Blacksmith Course in the fall of 2016. She is now running the Double G Farrier business alongside her husband in Arizona. Offering a business minded approach to the trade and years of experienced horsemanship.

SamsonSamson is Double G’s “farrier terrier”, he is a border collie/catahoula mix born in September 2014.
In the cooler months you can find him traveling with the crew and guarding the rig while they shoe. On his time off Sam loves to go hiking or traveling the various state & national parks 🏞 |
